Adam Higgins is a multi-instrumentalist from North Georgia. With experience in all forms of popular music and a personal zeal for classic recordings, Adam proves to be a valuable asset on stage and in the studio. He specializes in Electric, Fretless, and Upright bass, as well as vintage keyboards including Hammond Organ and Fender Rhodes. With a wide vocal range (B1 to F5) he is an adept singer from deep bass to high harmonies.
While studying vocal performance in college, Adam began playing bass and eventually shifted his interest from classical to commercial music. After leaving school and joining the Atlanta music scene, Adam developed a reputation as a skilled and entertaining sideman. He has been a member of such Atlanta bands as Rolling Nowhere, The Law Band, Rosey, Zale, Sailing to Denver, Trappers Cabin, Andrea Colburn, and Wade Sapp. He has been a session musician at The Greenhouse Atlanta since 2015.
In 2019, you may have seen Adam touring small theaters with Wade Sapp or Rob Leines, supporting Colter Wall and Whiskey Myers respectively. He now resides just outside of Chattanooga in Rocky Face, GA, a central location for work in Georgia or Tennessee. He is available for tours and session work.
In December 2020, Adam released his first project as a composer, "The Greenhouse Gases".
Adam is now offering remote recording services and can collaborate with other artists from his home! Contact Adam below for details.
